Zamena Hassan

Zamena Hassan is a Canadian citizen residing in Dubai, UAE, who was born and raised in Kinshasa, the Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly Zaire). She graduated from the American School of Kinshasa, acquired her Bachelor’s in Philosophy and French Literature at the University of Toronto, and received her Master’s in Special Education from the University of Birmingham. She speaks English, French, Lingala, Urdu, Gujarati, and can understand bits of Arabic and Swahili. In addition to being an avid traveller, she has lived in Kinshasa, Toronto, Dubai, London, and Los Angeles. She loves to volunteer her time towards various humanitarian and non-profit activities. Her mission in life is to provide support to as many people as she can, especially by creating support groups and communities for carers all across the world. Let’s care for carers too!
