Zafar Masud

Zafar Masud is the President and CEO of the Bank of Punjab. He has the unique experience of working across multinationals, public sector corporations, government, multilaterals, and as entrepreneur. He was the former DG of National Savings, Ministry of Finance; the CEO Barclays Southern Africa; the Founder Partner of Burj Capital; and the Founder CEO (Interim) of InfraZamin Pakistan. He has served as director on the boards of SBP, OGDCL, PQA, Gadoon Textile, and as the member of the privileged Independent Monetary Policy Committee. In May 2020, he miraculously survived the PK8303 air crash in Karachi, Pakistan. He is a regular contributor to the local media on the topics of finance, economics, energy, etc., and has published his newspaper articles in a book form, titled, Out of the Box.
