Simi Kamal

Simi Kamal is Head of Programmes at Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund, where she oversees several grant-making donor-funded programmes. She is also the Founder of Hisaar Foundation where she served three terms as Chairperson of the Board of Governors. She has over 37 years of experience in the water, environment, women development, and social development sectors. She has served on many boards, task forces, and committees in Pakistan and abroad, including the National Commission on the Status of Women, the South Asia Technical Advisory Committee and the Global Technical Committee of the Stockholm-based Global Water Partnership. She is the recipient of many national and international awards.
