Sanam Maher

Sanam Maher is a journalist based in Karachi. For more than a decade, she has covered stories on Pakistan’s art and culture, business, politics, religious minorities and women. As a freelance journalist since 2015, her work has appeared in Al Jazeera, BuzzFeed, The Caravan, Roads & Kingdoms, Scroll and The New York Times’ Women in the World, amongst others.
The Sensational Life and Death of Qandeel Baloch is her first book.
