Sabiha Imani
Sabiha Imani is a Bombay‑bred, Karachi‑based graphic designer who has shaped the visual identity of numerous publications, cultural platforms, art events, university programs, and corporate projects in Pakistan and abroad. Her portfolio includes work for Asna, the Leather Show 2002, Oxford University Press, British Council Pakistan, the University of Wollongong in Dubai, and AICA International. Over a career spanning twenty‑seven years, her design practice has been deeply rooted in the arts. An editorial designer at heart, she conceptualized the look and layout of NuktaArt Magazine as part of its founding team. She has collaborated closely with leading artists and writers on major publications, including A Beautiful Despair: The Art and Life of Meher Afroz (2020), Rasheed Araeen: Homecoming (VM Art Gallery, 2014), and Between Dreams and Reality: The Art of Tabinda Chinoy (FOMMA, 2013). Her most recent work is the catalogue design for Connecting Internal and External Time…, the 2025 retrospective of Meher Afroz curated by Niilofur Farrukh. In addition to her design practice, Sabiha has contributed to arts education, teaching design and typography at the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, SZABIST University, and the Central Institute of Arts and Crafts.
