Rahila Fatima
Rahila Fatima leads the Partnership Schools Programme at TCF and is responsible and accountable for developing and implementing projects, programs and services. The unit works to establish long range organizational objectives, develop feasibilities, manage and oversee project implementation. In addition, the unit is responsible for identifying potential field testing partners, and overseeing business development activities such as financial forecasting and marketing plan development etc. Earlier, she was heading the Education Team at TCF and her portfolio included working at policy and programmes review level; conceptualizing and designing educational material development programmes; and coordinating with regional team for nation-wide programme implementation. She also coordinates an internal team that design tools and systems to monitor and evaluate TCF Schools.
Prior to TCF, Rahila worked with Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan in capacities of lecturer in English and Head of Humanities. There she had been involved in language curriculum and programs, designing and implementing elective courses, conducting writing workshops, and developing publication and promotional material. Apart from this, she initiated many student-related projects including Career Guidance and Counseling, and Internship Programmes. She has been country coordinator for international projects and participated in various national and international courses and conferences.
Rahila has two post-graduate degrees, a MA in English Literature and in Linguistics from University of Karachi and a one-year joint diploma in Social Enterprise Management from LUMS-McGill.
