Qamar Ahmed
Qamar Ahmed is an acclaimed cricket writer, broadcaster, and former first-class cricketer (early 1950s–1960s) from Pakistan. He entered cricket journalism and broadcasting in England and has set a record of sorts for covering more matches in his fifty-year journalistic career than any other living cricket reporter/writer—450 Test matches; 738 ODIs; and nine World Cups. An honorary life member of Cricket Writers’ Club of England since 2011, he has contributed in most cricket periodicals of the world; been a commentator on radio/television; and authored many books on cricket.
