Niilofur Farrukh
An art interventionist whose seminal initiatives have expanded the space for art publication, curation and public art. Niilofur Farrukh co-edited Pakistan’s Radioactive Decade: An Informal Cultural History of the 1970s (2019) with Amin Gulgee and John McCarry. She was the founder editor of NuktaArt, Pakistan’s contemporary art magazine. She has served on the board of the International Art Critics Association (AICA) as vice president. She is one of the founders of Karachi Biennale Trust (2017) that established the Karachi Biennale and currently serves as its Managing Trustee and CEO.
