Newal Osman

Newal Osman is an Assistant Professor in the department of Social Sciences and Liberal Arts at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA, Karachi). She holds a PhD in History from Trinity College, Cambridge, and a Master’s degree in International History from the London School of Economics. A former visiting fellow at the University of Oxford, Newal’s main area of research centres around colonial Punjab and the effects of partition.
