Neelam Ahmad Bashir

An author and a poet, Neelam Ahmad Bashir has emerged as an Urdu writer with a vision and creative consciousness. Eldest of the Ahmad Bashir clan, she writes poetry in Urdu and Punjabi. Well known for her contributions in today’s Urdu literary scene, she writes candidly and fearlessly on controversial and bold subjects. Neelam has five short story collections including one in Punjabi, a book of essays, two travelogues, and a new novel, Taoos Faqat Rung, to her credit.
