Myra Murad Khan

Myra Murad Khan works in the Education Global Practice at the World Bank, supporting the Bank’s global education agenda. She has 12 years of experience working on education projects across Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and Europe. In her most recent role, she supported the Global Director’s office, conducting high-level political analysis, managing portfolio and corporate responsibilities for the Education Global Practice, and supporting communications and high-level global and political conferences. For three years in a row, she has been awarded an internal World Bank grant for developing a socioemotional skills development program for refugee youth. She is well-versed in a wide range of education topics, including basic education service delivery, education finance, girls’ education, and refugee education. Through the World Bank, she has worked with dozens of ministries of education, ministries of labour and jobs, and international development ministries in donor and client country governments. Prior to this, she obtained her Master’s in International Education Policy from Harvard University and worked at Teach For Pakistan.
