Mubeen Mirza

Mubeen Mirza is a noted Pakistani fiction writer, poet, and journalist. He is widely acknowledged and well received short story writer of the modern era of Urdu fiction. He has been writing a weekly article in the Sunday magazine of daily Express for about three years on literary, socio-political, and international issues. At present, he is the editor of renowned literary magazine Mukalama and runs a well reputed publishing house Academy Bazyaft as the managing director. He is a former member of Board of Governors of Pakistan Academy of Letters. He is the author of Khof ke Aasman Talay; Saadat Hasan Manto: Shakhsiyat o Fun; Tabani; Zameenen aur Zamane; Arzang; Urdu ke Behtareen Shakhsi Khakay; Pakistani Adab; Adabiyat; and Manto: Muntakhab Mazameen.
