Mubeen Mirza

Mubeen Mirza is a noted Pakistani fiction writer, poet, and journalist. He is widely acknowledged as a prominent short story writer in modern Urdu fiction. He wrote a weekly column in the Sunday magazine of Daily Express for about three years, covering literary, socio-political, and international issues. Currently, he is the editor of the renowned literary magazine Mukalama and the managing director of the well-reputed publishing house Academy Bazyaft. He is serving his second term as a member of the Board of Governors of the Pakistan Academy of Letters.

Mubeen Mirza is the author of several books, including Khof ke Aasman Talay, Saadat Hasan Manto: Shakhsiyat o Fun, Tabani, Zameenen aur Zamane, Arzang, Ahwal o Aasar, Urdu ke Behtareen Shakhsi Khakay, Pakistani Adab, Adabiyat, and Manto: Muntakhab Mazameen.
