Mehr Husain

Mehr Husain is the founder of ZUKA Books and ZUKA Accessories, sustainability-oriented publishing and design houses that advocate for literature, local craftsmanship, and gender-inclusive creative models. Both organisations are members of the UN Publishers Compact and the UN Fashion & Lifestyle Network for sustainable practices. Mehr has authored Pakistan: A Fashionable History and is recognised as a UN Women Asia-Pacific SME Champion Award nominee. She is also the first Pakistani woman to be shortlisted for the Prix Voltaire publishing award. In addition, she is an International Publishing Fellow with the British Council and a sustainability advocate appointed by the Swarovski Foundation.
