Masud Mufti

An eminent novelist, playwright, journalist, and ‘Inshaiya’ writer. Masud Mufti has served in the Civil Service of Pakistan (District Management Group). After retirement in 1994, he wrote articles for the English and Urdu press of Pakistan. Nowadays, he is pursuing his life-long hobby of writing prose in Urdu. His remarkable books include Hum Nafs, Chehray, Chehray aur Mohray, and Lamhe. A book titled Masud Mufti: Life and Works, compiled by Dr Maqsooda Hussain has been published by the Pakistan Academy of Letters, Islamabad.
