Maheen Usmani
An award-winning journalist, Maheen has worked in television, print, and digital media. She has reported on human trafficking, refugees, minorities, health, education, climate change, special children, sports and culture and heritage. Maheen has also made investigative documentaries on the separation of East Pakistan and the trial and execution of Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. She has worked as a research analyst for the Sustainable Development Policy Institute and the Mahbub ul Haq Human Development Centre, and as a consultant at the Aga Khan Foundation in Pakistan as well as in the UK. Maheen Usmani is the author of The Mercurial Mr Bhutto and Other Stories, a short story collection set in Karachi.
