Kamila Shamsie 

Kamila Shamsie is regarded as being among the most accomplished Pakistani novelists writing in English. Hailing from Karachi, she is the author of seven novels, including “Home Fire”, which was longlisted for the Booker Prize and won the Women’s Prize for Fiction. Her novels have been translated into over twenty languages. Three of her novels have won awards from the Pakistan Academy of Letters. In 2013, she was listed as one of the Best of Young British Novelists by ‘Granta’ magazine.
