
Junaid Zuberi
Junaid Zuberi is a dedicated leader whose career reflects a deep commitment to professional excellence and the preservation of arts and culture. As the Chief Executive Officer at the National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA), Junaid brings nearly three decades of diverse experience in Pakistan and Canada. It is his passion for the arts that truly defines his journey.
Over the past two decades, Junaid has spearheaded numerous cultural initiatives. In Canada, he served as Vice Chairman of the Friends of the Museums of Mississauga, co-founded The Hunar Foundation Canada, and served as an elected Board Member of the IBA Alumni Canada Chapter. He also established the Sur Sangum Foundation, a platform dedicated to promoting South Asian cultural and artistic heritage. Through this foundation, Junaid created opportunities for meaningful artistic expression and community engagement.
In Pakistan, Junaid contributed to the cultural sphere over the past two decades through his association with various forums such as All Pakistan Music Conference, Joy of Urdu, T2F, Tehrik-e-Niswan, and Sampurna. As a committed Rotarian and an inspiring public speaker, Junaid continues to champion causes close to his heart.
Beyond his leadership roles, Junaid Zuberi is an avid writer and blogger. Through his writings and talks in both English and Urdu, he shares his love for classical music, Urdu poetry, and the performing arts, encouraging others to celebrate and cherish the rich cultural heritage that defines our collective identity.
