Jack Hillmeyer

Jack Hillmeyer is the Acting Consul General of the US Consulate in Karachi. He has served as a diplomat in Pakistan since October 2019. Prior to his arrival, he was the Political and Public Affairs Advisor at the US Mission to NATO in Brussels, the Spokesperson at the US Embassy in South Africa, and the Executive Secretary at the US Embassy in Afghanistan. Hillmeyer has extensive experience in Europe and Africa having also served in Milan, Italy, Durban, South Africa, Libreville, Gabon, and Washington, D.C. Before joining the Foreign Service, Hillmeyer was a Peace Corp volunteer in Kyrgyzstan. He holds a BA from Southern Methodist University and an MPP from Georgetown University. He is from St. Louis and is a baseball fan.
