
Huma Baqai
Dr. Huma Baqai currently serves as the Rector of the Millennium Institute of Technology and Entrepreneurship (MiTE) in Karachi. With an academic and professional career spanning over 25 years, Dr. Baqai has established herself as a distinguished scholar, author, and educator.
Her academic journey includes a notable tenure as an Associate Professor in the Social Sciences and Liberal Arts department at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) in Karachi. Over the years, Dr. Baqai has accumulated extensive experience in teaching and research, contributing significantly to the academic community.
Dr. Baqai is the author of three books: ‘Making Sense of Post COVID-19 Politics’ (2020), ‘Pakistan-Afghanistan Relations: Pitfalls and Way Forward’ (2021), and ‘Collected Works of Foreign Affairs and Security Policy’ (2023). In addition to her books, she has authored over 40 national and international research articles and book chapters.
Her presence in the media spans more than two decades, during which she has been actively involved with both electronic and print media. As a certified corporate trainer and content developer, Dr. Baqai has 15 years of experience in delivering training programs. She also serves on several advisory and governance boards, where she contributes her expertise to various organizations.
