Hidayat Sayer
Scriptwriter by profession and poet by choice, Hidayat began his career as a broadcaster when he joined Radio Pakistan as a student in 1997. Since then, he has been writing Urdu ghazals and poems. His phenomenal poems are mostly centered around themes of love, humanity, suffering, social justice and revolution. His poignant poems ‘Madari’ and “Bashira” which seek to explore the true face of society received critical acclaim. He has the vision and drive to form a network of young motivated people and inspire them for a better future.
His illustrious career in media spans more than two decades. He has made his mark as a director, producer, scriptwriter, TV anchor and broadcaster in leading Pakistani news channels including ARY News, Express News, Abbtak New and more. He regularly writes columns in Urdu and English dailies and currently hosts a show on FM 107.
