H.M. Naqvi
H.M. Naqvi is the award-winning author of “Home Boy”. The novel was awarded the DSC Prize for South Asian Literature in 2011. Naqvi has worked in the financial services industry, taught creative writing at Boston University and at the Lahore University of Management Sciences. He has written for publications including ‘The Believer’, ‘Caravan’, and the ‘Dawn’, and has appeared on CNN, NPR, and BBC World Service. His second novel, “The Selected Works of Abdullah the Cossack”, was published in 2019, and was referred to as ‘A delirious love letter to the Karachi that was’ in a review published in the ‘The Wall Street Journal’. Through the Covid Era, he has been working on his third novel and a collection of essays.
