Ghazanfar Hashmi

Ghazanfar Hashmi is a well-known poet, author, translator, columnist, and television personality. He is Executive Director of the International Academy of Letters, USA—a think tank working to build bridges through dialogue, arts, and culture. His published works include books of poetry (Mohabat Khawab Hay, Roshni to Main Be Hun), Babies don’t have Nations (a translation of Latin American Resistance Poetry), Meray Hum Nafas (interviews of literary personalities), and collections of his columns Roshandaan and Mulaaqaat. Hashmi is also associated with a premier Pakistani TV channel in the USA. He has hosted a number of talk shows and interviewed various international diplomatic and political personalities on Pakistani and foreign TV channels.
