Fozia Parveen
Fozia Parveen is an assistant professor a the Aga khan University, Institute for Educational Development. She is an environmental scientist by training and holds her DPhil in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford. At AKU her role is to mainstream environment and climate change education. Prior to this she worked in LUMS as a post doctorate, majorly focusing on introductory course in environment and microplastic pollution research. Currently she holds a US mission grant to train 50 teachers in KP for a year long program as climate champions alongside teaching and supervising researches in environmental education. She leads and attends various youth camps and session on environmental and climate advocacy. She has created free and open resources for parents, teachers and students and hopes to help everyone become a part of this much needed mass awareness. So far as a group we have published five resource books and two more are in making. I have also oriented 100 teachers on that module last year.
