Fasih Bari Khan

A well-known scriptwriter for television, Fasih has written several highly acclaimed yet controversial TV plays for different networks. He first rose to fame with the acclaimed Burns Road ki Nilofer. Best known for Quddusi Sahab ki Bewah, his stories are reflective of everyday lives of the inner cities of Pakistan and highlight the ills and controversial issues of society. His plays—mostly directed by Mazhar Moin, his childhood friend—come across as a slice of life, without garnishing or pretence. Fasih Bari Khan also wrote screenplay for two films Saat Din Mohabbat In and Jeewan Hathi.
