Salman Sarwat

Dr. Salman Sarwat is an upcoming poet from the younger generation of Urdu poets. Salman has developed his own style in Urdu free verse. Poems, such as Selfie, Middle Class, Traffic reflect his urban sensitivity. Holding a Ph.D. in Finance Management, he teaches Philosophy and also writes criticism, literary essays, and short stories. He has read from his work at various literary festivals, carrying on the legacy of his father, the celebrated poet, Sarwat Hussain.
