Huma Baqai

Prof. Dr Huma Baqai currently holds the position of Rector at the Millennium Institute of Technology and Entrepreneurship in Karachi. Previously, she served as the Associate Dean, Faculty of Business Administration at the Institute of Business Administration Karachi and as an Associate Professor of Social Sciences & Liberal Arts at IBA Karachi. She is an international relations expert & political analyst and has three books to her credit: ’Making Sense of Post COVID-19 Politics’ (2020), ’Pakistan-Afghanistan Relations: Pitfalls and Way Forward’ (2021), ‘Collected Works on Foreign Affairs and Security Policy’ (2023). She has published extensively both nationally and internationally. Dr Baqai is also recognized as a content developer and holds certification as a Corporate Trainer. Additionally, she currently holds the position of Senior Vice Chairperson at the Karachi Council for Foreign Relations (KCFR) and serves on several advisory and governance boards.
