Anjum Halai

Dr Anjum Halai, with a doctoral degree from Oxford University, UK, has held roles including adjunct professor at the University of Alberta, Canada (2011-2016), and research fellow at Sussex University, UK. She is the author of the forthcoming book ‘Teaching and Teacher Education in Pakistan: Historical and Contemporary Perspectives’. She serves on the Advisory Committee for the Women’s Leadership Academy at Aga Khan University and is a founding member of the Women’s Leadership Group by the National Academy of Higher Education, Pakistan. Formerly the Founding Dean (2018-22) at AKU’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences, she currently holds the position of Professor of Education and Regional Vice Provost at AKU.
