He is a Board Member of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC); President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP); and Chairman of the 26th session of ISAR, UNCTAD, United Nations Geneva (ISAR). Chairman of the technical committee, which drafted the Corporate Governance Rules for public sector companies in Pakistan, he has also been an advisor to the Chief Minister of Sindh on finance.
