Andrew Coombe

Andrew Coombe is the Managing Director of OxfordAQA, the exam board which supports international schools to prepare students for the future. OxfordAQA is a partnership between AQA, the UK’s largest awarding body, and Oxford University Press, a department of the University of Oxford. It offers globally recognised international GCSEs, AS and A-levels to schools across the world with a strong focus on the Middle East, South Asia, East Asia and Europe.  Prior to joining OxfordAQA, Andrew led the global teams at Cambridge Assessment International Education. He is a passionate advocate for education which enables students not only to gain entry to the next stage of their education but also to prepare them with the skills they need to thrive.  He has worked internationally throughout his career and is a graduate of the Universities of both Oxford and Cambridge.
