Adrian A. Husain

Adrian A. Husain is a scholar, literary critic, and poet in the English language. He presently teaches at the College of Business Management, Karachi. Husain is the author of Politics and Genre in Hamlet Oxford University Press, and a monograph on Richard II titled Time and the King. His articles and poetry have been published in well-known literary journals and anthologies such as Pieces of Eight and The Blue Wind. He is the author of Desert Album, a selection of poems published by Oxford University Press in 1997. A recipient of the Guinness Poetry Prize, Husain was given the tribute by the late Khalid Hassan as ‘the finest living Pakistani poet writing in English’.
