
Abid S. Zuberi
Abid S. Zuberi is a prominent Pakistani Advocate and a respected figure in the legal community. An alumnus of Aitchison College, he completed his undergraduate studies at the London School of Economics and his Bar-at-Law in the United Kingdom. He was called to the Bar by Lincoln’s Inn, becoming a member of the Bar of England and Wales. With a career spanning 36 years, Mr. Zuberi is the founder and managing partner of Abid S. Zuberi & Ayan M. Memon Law Associates, leading the firm in representing a diverse range of clients, including multinational corporations, government entities, and high-profile individuals.
Throughout his career, Mr. Zuberi has been an active and influential member of the legal fraternity. He served as the Joint Secretary of the Sindh High Court Bar Association (1996–1997), General Secretary (2009–2011), and President of the Sindh High Court Bar Association (2014–2015). His election as the President of the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan (2022–2023) underscores his leadership and the trust he commands within the legal community.
With an impressive track record of appearances in over 3,000 cases before the Sindh High Court and the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Mr. Zuberi has played a pivotal role in shaping Pakistani jurisprudence. His contributions to more than 200 reported judgments have set enduring legal precedents, particularly in constitutional law. Notably, he has argued significant cases, such as those concerning the trial of civilians in military courts and the landmark Supreme Court Practice and Procedure case.
