Bushra Ansari

Well-known actor, singer, TV host/presenter, multi-talented daughter of a renowned journalist/film maker and intellectual Ahmad Bashir (late). Featured in some of TV’s most-watched shows, including Angan Terha, Show Time, Show Sha, Rang Tarang, Emergency Ward, and Fifty Fifty, Bushra Ansari is equally at ease with comedy or serious drama. An accomplished singer, a lively compere, and a gifted mimic, she has written some very popular drama serials and plays including Neeli Dhoop (her first script), Makaan and Kucch Dil nay Kaha. Over the years, she has received many awards including two Graduate awards, four Lux Style awards, three Hum awards, and the most prestigious Pride of Performance Award.
