Shayan Haqqee

Shayan Haqqee is a retired airline captain. He graduated from St. Patrick’s College and later travelled to Montreal, Canada, where he completed his professional flying and aviation training. He subsequently worked in Canada as both a flight and ground instructor. He joined PIA in 1988 as a pilot took an early retirement in 2013. He later moved to Saudi Arabian Airlines and retired at superannuation age.He served for 25 years as Captain, flight instructor, and simulator instructor in PIA. During his tenure at PIA, he received several citations, awards, and letters of appreciation. Since retirement, Shayan Haqqee has dedicated himself to literary preservation, focusing on printing unpublished manuscripts and reissuing out‑of‑print works of his illustrious father, Shanul Haq Haqqee, for a new generation of readers.
