Walid Iqbal

Walid Iqbal is a Pakistani legislator, corporate lawyer, and academic known for championing democracy, human rights, and transparency. Before entering public service, Walid built a distinguished legal career as co‑founder of Lexium – Attorneys at Law, one of Pakistan’s leading corporate law firms. He has also taught law and economics for over a decade at top institutions, including LUMS, Government College University Lahore, Harvard University, and the Punjab Group of Colleges. A grandson of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, he comes from a family deeply rooted in public service and legal scholarship.
