Fatima Dar

Dr Fatima Rehan Dar is a senior professional in the fields of teacher education, English language education, curriculum development, capacity development, quality assurance, and research. She holds a PhD in Education from the School of Education and Cognitive Sciences, Asia e University, Malaysia; an M.A. in Curriculum and Teaching from Columbia University, USA; and an M.A. in English from Government College University, Lahore (Pakistan). Over a career spanning 30 years, she has successfully bridged the theory–practice divide by serving as a university professor, a technical advisor in the development sector, and a consultant with government institutions. Her national and international talks at seminars and conferences, as well as her publications, address contemporary issues in education, English language teaching, multilingual education, and curriculum development. At present, Dr Dar works as the CEO and Managing Partner of Oak Consulting, an education-reform-focused consultancy firm.
